We’re committed to spending less than 5% of our revenue on creating these special events to raise funds and awareness for our mission. A Place at the Table is our annual gala. Come join us for dinner, special presentations, and performances. Hundreds of supporters come out every year to raise millions. Past hosts include Julio Torres, Angelica Ross, Billy Porter, Tituss Burgess, and more.

Tribeca Rooftop
OASIS is our annual summer benefit, which has been running for more than ten years. As the largest LGBTQ+ summer cocktail party in NYC outside of Pride, more than a thousand people come out to support AFC. Enjoy cocktails, auctions, and live entertainment by RuPaul’s Drag Race superstars. Past entertainers include Parker Posey, Alaska, Detox, Luxx Noir London, the cast of HBO’s “Looking”, and more.

I Put a Spell on You

Webster Hall
Broadway's Biggest Halloween Party returns to celebrate its 10th Anniversary on Monday, October 20th at the historic Webster Hall! "I Put a Spell on You" pays homage to the cult favorite Disney film *Hocus Pocus* with a high-octane concert-meets-dance party a s the entertainment community comes together to benefit the Ali Forney Center, the nation's largest agency serving LGBTQ+ youth experiencing homelessness.
SERVE
The Ali Forney Center is thrilled to introduce SERVE, a dance-a-thon to fight food insecurity for homeless LGBTQ+ youth. SERVE is bringing together the worlds of food, nightlife, dancing, and music all day to raise critical funds for our year-round meal program.
Team up, raise funds, and put on your dancing shoes! We promise a full day of meaningful experiences, notable entertainment, and most of all -- as much dancing as possible!
The holiday season can feel especially lonely for many, join us as a chosen family so we can be sure LGBTQ+ youth experiencing homelessness have celebratory and nourishing meals -- on Thanksgiving and every day year-round.
